3-Step Exercise for Releasing Emotional Pain

love_is_intelligent_energyAt some point in our lives, we have all suffered some emotional pain. Through that experience, we tend to get rapped up in the pain, and we ignore the essence of our soul, the day-to-day experience, and the more important things in life. Life just becomes a whirlwind of fear, anxiety, panic, depression, confusion, self-abuse, or anger. Staying in this emotionally toxic place will eventually deplete a persons spirit, personal wisdom, and physical wellness. The ego will continue to feed into this pain and project fears and doubts which will block you from healing and moving forward.

Understand the ego will manifest pain, fear, and doubt. The further we move away from our soul truth, the more we believe in the ego’s truth (false self). To manifest love, forgiveness, empowerment, and happiness comes from our authentic self. Understanding the dark side of the ego will help you move towards the light side (soul truth), and then the capacity to release emotional pain.

You have a choice. You can choose to start a new chapter of your life by living more of your authentic self, and moving on and living in the present, or you can stay living as a victim and trapped in the abyss of pain and sorrow.

Grief.  You may go through a grieving process during the release of emotional pain. Identify your thoughts, feelings, and any senses that come through while grieving. Use an outlet to filter this process i.e. journal, create, dance, sing, write, garden, chant, or use a mantra. This will allow you to move towards healing and the ability to adjust to your new self-love.

If you or someone you love is feeling trapped in emotional pain, here is a 3-step exercise for releasing emotional pain.

  1. Identify and notice the physical body.  Find a few minutes of uninterrupted time. Sit comfortably or lie down and close your eyes.  Focus your attention on your breath to relax all the muscles in the body–start from the crown (top of the head) to the souls of the feet. Sense or imagine the situation that caused you pain. Identify where on the body you are holding discomfort. Place your hand on that part of the body and say out loud the feeling you are experiencing.  The feelings you have are stored in the cell memory of the body. Use toning (vocal sounds) to release the pain, and to help harmonize the mind and body. You may have more than one location on the body (repeat this step for every area on the body).
  2. Journal. Write out your experience. Allow for automatic writing and release all thoughts, emotions, visions, and any other experiences. Then, rip it up and flush it down the toilet.
  3. Self-care. After you are done with this exercise, do something that feels rewarding and brings you happiness. Surround yourself with supportive and nurturing company. Allow yourself to share this experience and feel free and empowered!

Good luck and wish you much love…

Chakra Hypnotherapy: A Safe and Natural Way for Wellness

chakra3_2152233_stdHave you ever wondered how hypnotherapy can help you or a loved one with a specific problem or goal? Are you afraid that you will say or act out something that you do not want to do? Like when a stage hypnosis performer engages an audience member to demonstrate how they have forgotten their name for the purposes of comedic and entertainment value? Well…while stage hypnosis is entertaining and funny to watch, hypnotherapy is actually a legitimate practice that can help someone with a variety of emotional and physical problems, such as for anxiety, depression, pain management, and self-esteem. Hypnosis is a powerful healing technique that works at the subconscious level where you are guided into: a heightened state of attention, high suggestibility, and increased awareness and capacity to go beyond any limiting beliefs.  Almost anyone can be hypnotized, and do not worry, you are in total control the entire time. You may even be engaged in conversations with the hypnotherapist or experience vivid imagery in your mind that will heighten all your senses. Further, you will not do anything that you would not normally do.

So how can hypnotherapy be used to balance the chakra system?

1. Foremost, using this method is a safe and natural way to improve your overall well-being, physical and mental health, and spiritual growth.

2. Through the subconscious mind, it opens your aura and allows for balance, cleansing, alignment of the chakras, and releasing of negative energy that interferes with the chakra system.

3. In the article, Chakra Hypnosis from the newsletter Hypno-Gram written by Marcel Klasen, BCH, CI,  he explains that during the “hypnotic trance the human mind has the capacity to perceive vibrational frequencies that go far beyond our conscious three dimensional awareness…Working in a person’s Chakra System with specific suggestions at a level of high vibrational frequencies, super accelerates healing and positive change.”

4. Allows the mind and body to work together in the healing process. It is a self-healing approach as it comes from your own motivation to activate positive change and the suggestions are a gentle way to release any toxins in the body to help align the chakras.

If you have any additional questions or comments about hypnotherapy, I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and I hope to answer any of your questions.

Crystal Healing: A Natural Way to Assist with Anxiety Relief

CrystalsI love, love, love crystals. Besides their beautiful & elegant appearances, crystals have so many healing properties. Have you ever been drawn to certain crystals and not really sure why? Crystals generate various vibrational levels and their varying colors maybe what you are intuitively picking up on, or your senses are drawn to. The next time you are around a crystal and you feel drawn to it, take it and keep it close to you and learn about the healing properties. You may be surprised in what you learn. I believe that crystals are still really not understood in our Western culture. I hope to spread and increase awareness about the safe and natural remedies that crystals can help with ourselves, animals, plants…basically anything.  Let me start with sharing the natural ways crystals can promote balance and assist with reducing anxiety in the body.

Here are some crystals I recommend using for anxiety, fears, worries, or panic attacks:      Crystals containing lithium will assist with calming the nerves and lifting mood. Such as Kunzite, Lepidolite, Smoky Quartz, or Nuummite.

If you have not experienced an actual crystal therapy session, I highly recommend one. You will feel a shift. Crystal therapy, a hands-on, non-invasive approach in which stones are placed on the body from the base of the spine to the top of the head where the body’s natural energy flows, also known as Chakras is an ancient healing practice. Crystals are a natural, healing tool that can adjust and balance your whole mind, body, and spirit to relieve you of negative or blocked energy.

You do not have to wait for an actual healing session to receive the benefits, here are some alternatives:

1. Wear the crystals somewhere on your body to help relieve your anxiety, fears, worries, or panic attacks. I like to wear a crystal close to my heart center. Even while resting or meditation, you can place a crystal on your Third Eye.

2. For something more discreet, place a crystal inside your bra. It takes a few seconds to place one or as many as you feel comfortable, and then be on your way.

3. Sacred geometry. You can create grids using crystals for an additional healing practice.

4. Put crystals in your drinking water. The energy from the crystals will charge the water and your body will receive the crystalline energy. Put 1 part crystal for 2 parts water.

5. Placing crystals in your room or at your desk. The energy of the crystal will help harmonize and balance the room.
