In today’s 5 minute lesson, I give you tips on how to use sound healing to resonate your chakra centers to heal a certain area of your life. We are focusing on the Crown Chakra.

I used (1) Drum + Tingshas + Rainstick + Rose quartz wind chimes

Here are some benefits to the instruments…

Drum-drumming has been used by indigenous people in their sacred rituals and ceremonial practices.The drum has been known to help reduce anxiety, increase focus, and used to promote healing for people and Mother Earth.

Tingshas-used at the beginning and ending of the meditation.

Rose quartz-helps with self-love for others. Brings about compassion, forgiveness, and gentleness. It can aid sexual and emotional imbalance. Place rose quartz in both hands for more balance during today’s meditation. 
Rainstick-the rainstick has historically been associated with indigenous tribes who used it as a ritual to evoke the rain gods when climates were dry. I am called to use as a symbol to clear our energy system. I imagine the sounds is breaking up blocks and toxics stuck in the physical body. However, let your inner guidance create the experience for you and see what transformation can happen for you.

TODAY’S MESSAGE

To help set my intention for today’s meditation, I used the Soul’s Journey cards by James Van Praagh to guide me for what we need to hear this week. I pulled, Worry-I’m learning that worry does not change an outcome.

Worry is a low vibration and this card is a reminder that we are actually in more control of our lives then we think.

Allow today’s meditation to help you free yourself from things you have no control over. Everything is in divine order. There can be a level of trust that you create inside yourself when you accept that worrying does not have magical powers to change an outcome.

INNER JOURNEY QUESTIONS
What would you rather be doing if you were not worrying? Since energy attracts like energy, do you want to focus on worrying and attract more things that keep you up at night, zap your energy, or make you feel unworthy? Can you let your soul regain its power back?
 
ACTION PLAN
Set aside 10 minutes once a week to journal your responses to this weeks meditation and the inner journey questions. Notice what shows up for you.
 
Use all your senses (sound, touch, taste, sight, intuition, smell) to help bring about the frequency of fully connecting to the present moment. See how that changes your day, the next day, and after that.
 
BONUS TIP
Begin to visualize or imagine where you want to go during your sacred sound meditation. Take a deep breath, and sense how you can use today’s sound healing to bring you more hope, excitement, and surrender. During your meditation, your senses will be heightened and you may see colors, shapes, sounds, images, feelings, memories, and unconscious experiences that will be brought to your consciousness.

BEST PRACTICES FOR A SUCCESSFUL MEDITATION

1. Listen to the meditation with earphones for optimum benefits.
2. Get in a comfortable position. (you may feel like moving to the beat of the drum so allow your body to be free with movement or just stay in gentle stillness for today’s meditation) 
3. Set your intention.
4. Three to five deep, slow breathes to relax the body.
5. Unplug and honor this time ONLY for YOU.
6. And Tune Up.
